Versatile Pool Pump for Domestic, Commercial & Water Feature Applications

The Speroni SWIMM range is a quiet, continuous-duty swimming pool pump designed for a wide range of applications, including:

  • Domestic and residential pools
  • Commercial and public swimming pools
  • Water features and ponds

This makes it a strong all-round option where flexibility, reliability and consistent performance are required.

Unlike many standard pool pumps, the SWIMM range is built to handle not just clean water, but also water containing small suspended debris, making it a more versatile option for real-world pool and water feature systems.

All models come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Where the SWIMM Range Works Best

The SWIMM range is ideal for:

  • Private swimming pools
  • Public and commercial pools
  • Water features and ponds
  • Circulation systems with light debris
  • Installations requiring continuous 24-hour running

This is a strong all-rounder where reliability and flexibility matter.

Why Choose the Speroni SWIMM Pump?

  • Designed for continuous duty (24/7 operation)
  • Quiet running swimming pool pump
  • Also suitable for ponds and water features
  • Handles clean water and light debris
  • Self-priming with up to 7m suction lift
  • Suitable for both domestic and commercial use
  • Easy to maintain and service

Build and Design

The pump body is engineered from tough thermoplastic and manufactured with a stainless steel shaft. Abrasion resistance is enhanced further by the inclusion of an anti-wear impeller which is suited to withstand sands and silts.

The SWIMM range is designed for durability and long-term use:

  • Thermoplastic pump body and impeller
  • Stainless steel motor shaft
  • NBR mechanical seal
  • IP55 rated motor (dust and water protected)

The design includes:

  • Removable filter basket for debris capture
  • Clear inspection lid for quick checks
  • Union connections, allowing the pump to be removed without disturbing pipework

This makes maintenance far easier compared with fixed pipe installations.

Performance and Models

Four main models are available in this range (230V):

  • SWIMM 500 – 250 L/min (0.37kW) – small pools / low demand
  • SWIMM 750 – 275 L/min (0.55kW) – typical domestic pools
  • SWIMM 1000 – 350 L/min (0.75kW) – larger systems
  • SWIMM 1500 – 450 L/min (1.10kW) – high demand / commercial
  • SWIMM 2000 – 450 L/min (1.5kW) - highest flow on single phase
  • SWIMM 3000T – 450 L/min (2.2kW) - 400V three-phase
  • SWIMM 4000T – 450 L/min (2.4kW) - 400V three-phase

Flow rates and performance will vary depending on pipework, system layout and head conditions.

Installation and Compatibility

  • 1.5” pipework (48.3mm) – SWIMM 500 / 750 / 1000
  • 2” pipework (60.3mm) – SWIMM 1500 /2000/ 3000T / 4000T (Includes reducers for 1½” pipework)

Supplied with ABS unions for easy installation

Also compatible with BSP connections for flexible hose setups or for use with Suction and Delivery Hose.

Models from SWIMM 500 to SWIMM 1500 can be fitted with 1½″ (40 mm) BSP male hose tails, allowing connection to flexible suction/delivery hose for applications such as water features.

Models from SWIMM 2000 and above can be fitted with 2″ (50 mm) BSP male hose tails where flexible hose is preferred.

Operating Conditions

  • Suitable for liquids between +5°C and +35°C
  • Designed for:
    • Clean water
    • Water with floating debris
  • Maximum ambient temperature: 40°C

Designed for Typical Pool Installations

The SWIMM range can be installed below, at, or slightly above water level, making it suitable for most standard pool systems.

For optimum performance, installation at or below water level (flooded suction) is recommended. This provides:

  • More efficient, continuous operation
  • Reduced strain on the pump
  • Greater long-term reliability

For installations requiring higher self-priming capability, consider the Plastica AG Series or Plastica Argonaut range.

How to Choose a New Swimming Pool Pump in 5 Easy Steps | FPS Pumps

How to Choose the Correct Swimming Pool Pump:

It is important that the flow rate of the pump is correctly matched to the quantity of water in the pool to ensure the water is circulated effectively. Swimming pool experts rule of thumb is to circulate all the water within an 8-hour period. Normally you may consider replacing a pump like for like, however if it has failed prematurely it may have been the incorrect pump for the system, so we recommend following our
