Puddle Pumps

Puddle pumps are a type of submersible pump which don’t need to be fully submersed in water, although they can be. These are designed for draining very low levels of water without damaging or overheating the pump. Standard submersible pumps need to be fully submerged in water in order to keep cool and prevent the motor from overheating and burning out. Puddle pumps are very popular with domestic users.

Sump Pumps or Submersible Pumps

Submersible pumps are popular pumps used in the home and garden as they are one of the most efficient and cost-effective types of pump. They are generally cost and energy efficient, whilst still producing high quality results. They are submerged in the water, so do not have to pull the water up through a hose, simply push the water to the surface.

Pond Pumps/ Water Feature Pumps

Pond pumps are specially designed to run continuously, and can pump debris, including plant matter, fish waste and general detritus. Pond pumps also use a non-toxic oil which is encapsulated in a chamber. On poorer quality submersible pumps, the seals may fail over time, and toxic oil could pollute the pond. It is therefore paramount to ensure you purchase a pump intended for pond use

Manual/ Automatic Pumps

Most pumps that we supply are available in both manual and automatic models. Manual pumps will carry on running even when the water has cleared away where as an automatic pump will turn on when the water reaches a certain level and turn off when it drops to a certain level. The on/off level depends on the pump.

Swimming Pool Pumps

The pump circulates the water and pushes it through the filter, (and the heater in heated swimming pools) before returning it to the pool. Tadpoles, frogs, bugs and mosquitoes can appear quickly in a neglected pool. It is therefore vital to ensure the pump is firstly reliable, and secondly, if it fails it is replaced pronto! Luckily our swimming pool pumps come with next day delivery, so if you are looking for a replacement pool pump, you can have your pool back to normal in no time. We appreciate that it is a pain when pool pumps break, which is why we have selected, and supply two of the best series of swimming pool pumps available.

Battery Powered

These pumps are specifically designed so they can be used in isolated locations where there isn’t an electrical power supply. They are small and light weight making them extremely convenient and easy to transport, store and fit.

FloodMate Kits

Flood Mate are a range of emergency pumping kits which are used to help property owners safeguard and defend their premises from floods. Water can be pumped down to levels as low as between 1-3mm (dependent on the kit chosen). There are four different options for the FloodMate emergency pumping kits. The Flood Mate 1 and 2 both come with a 230-volt submersible pump. The motor on the FloodMate 1 is 100watt, with a 70 litre/min flow rate. The FloodMate 2 comes with a 480 watt LSC1.4S and has a flow rate of 170 litres/min.

Both the Flood Mate 3 and 4 have pumps driven by Honda engines. The Flood Mate 3 weighs approximately 6.1 kg and has a flow rate of 142 litres/min. The Flood Mate 4 has the engine as the 3, however, it is more lightweight at just 5kg.

Pressure Washers

The Marina range of pressure washers are ergonomically designed, making them straightforward to use and easy to handle. They are mains powered and only need to be connected to a main water supply for them to operate, perfect for pressure washing tasks, patios, clearing pathways, decking, vehicles, walls and for machinery and plant applications.

If you are looking for the extreme-clean, the Mini Bowser is an elite level cleaning machine. It is purpose built to make sure efficient, high-pressure cleaning can occur in places where there is no mains water supply and cleaning is required for prolonged period. The mini-bowser comes with a 120-litre tank, flows at 8 litres per minute and weighs 57kg when dry.

We’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for, but if you need further information please contact us.
