Poly Petrol or Diesel Chemical Seawater Pump

The Poly series of centrifugal pumps has been purpose built to aid the transfer of aggressive but non-abrasive liquids such as chemical and sea-water that would generally bring about corrosion of the aluminium, rubber and cast iron parts that are commonly located in engine driven pumps.

Available as either a petrol or a diesel fuelled centrifugal pump, they are ideal for applications such as chemicals, marine, sea water, agriculture, industry, and diesel transfer. The Poly pumps are constructed with stainless steel fasteners and reinforced polyester.

The construction of the Poly Pump means that it is capable of handling a large number of chemicals used in agriculture, detergents and sea or salt water. The standard EPDM models will handle most detergents, many agricultural chemicals* and salt/sea water, but an optional Buna fitted seal set is available for pumping diesel (models 25P & 25D only).

There are a number of different options available in the Poly series, however, these pumps are either powered by a Yanmar diesel engine, or a Honda OVH petrol engine. The petrol pumps in the Poly series each come with an oil alert.

The recommended suction lift is 6m, however, they can go up to a maximum of 8m if required.
