All equipment supplied via www.floodandwaterpumps.co.uk by Flood Protection Solutions Ltd is covered under the following warranty terms and conditions:
- Tsurumi Submersible Pumps
- Supplied with a 3-year warranty, commencing on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
- APP Pumps
- Supplied with a 2-year warranty, commencing on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
- Speroni Pumps
- Supplied with a 2-year warranty, commencing on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
- Stream Pumps
- Warranty coverage varies by model:
- SPK530 – formerly supplied with a 2-year warranty; models sold in 2025 onwards are now supplied with a 3-year warranty.
- SPK450A, SPK450AF, and SPP-2 are supplied with a 2-year warranty.
- SNR model – supplied with a 1-year warranty.
- All other products (non-pump items listed above)
- Supplied with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
Warranty Terms
What is Covered
The warranty covers equipment failure caused by manufacturing defects only, including faulty components or assembly.
Coverage includes parts and labour.
The first course of action will always be to repair the item. If repair is not possible, the item will be replaced with the same model, a newer model, or an equivalent brand capable of meeting the same duty.
The warranty does not cover refunds.
Warranty Process
The pump must be returned for inspection.
If the fault is confirmed as a valid warranty defect, the customer will receive a credit equal to a standard shipping rate.
If the pump is found to be not faulty, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs, including a return shipping fee.
If the fault is due to wear, misuse, or operation outside intended use, the claim will not be covered and an inspection fee may be charged in addition to shipping costs.
What is Not Covered
Carriage charges (unless credited as above for a confirmed warranty defect).
Fair wear and tear.
Misuse, neglect, or use beyond the intended purpose.
Incorrect pump selection or use outside the recommended range.
Pumps must operate within the middle third of their performance curve. Operation outside this range can cause inefficiency or damage. Failures resulting from this are not covered.
Additional Notes
The Company will only accept responsibility for goods supplied within the U.K.
At least 14 days from arrival at our warehouse is required for inspection and repair or replacement.
The Company reserves the right to assess the validity of any warranty claim.

Customers must not attempt any repair or adaptation to any equipment during the warranty period, or use the equipment for any purpose other than for which it was designed. Any such interference or mis-use will negate any warranty claim.
