The engine driven Drymax pump is an auto-priming, diesel fuelled diaphragm pump. They are suitable in hire fleets, utilities, drainage, submerged litter, construction and waste removal. These pumps are perfect for site pumping with liquids that contain sludge, mud, sewage, sand and suspended spherical solids that go up to a maximum of 40mm.

A great feature of the Drymax pumps is that no priming is required, they can also dry-run indefinitely. This is because the Drymax pumps are fitted with nitrile rubber diaphragms. They are powered by Yanmar L48E electric start engines. They all come with a two-wheeled site trolley.

Constructed with aluminium, the pumps ends are both light and strong. Easy to store, and designed to be operated with ease, the pivoting pump chamber can be used front or sideways. It also has a long run fuel tank that lasts up to six hours and is 5.4 litres, a standby engine recoil, BSP male connections and a mud plate, all acting as additional site-use functionalities.

There are currently two models available; The Drymax 2 and The Drymax 3. The optional extra of a quick release coupling kit is available with both.

Suction lift maximum is 8m. Recommended at 6m and below.

What's in the box:

  • 1x Drymax Pump
  • Suction strainer
  • Battery

*Hose couplings, washers, clips and hoses are extra

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
