The FPS Iguazu Sump 635 packaged pump station is designed to collect ground water via a perimeter channel or 110mm pipe and/or clear opening to the top of the chamber. It can also be drilled to allow groundwater to infiltrate into the sump.

The sump system comes with a single pump arrangement, the station can be supplied with a battery back-up system which would ensure the pump would work in a power outage. The FPS Iguazu 635 can also collect grey water from showers and wash-hand basins but is not suitable for foul water from a W.C.

It has been designed to ensure an easy, problem free installation and is manufactured in high grade MDPE. It is delivered to site as a complete package, including all internal pipe work and a drainage pump. It is a simple ‘Plug & Play’ system which can be used internally or externally.

A high-level alarm can be fitted. A battery back up system can also be supplied.

Please note this is our most simple sump pump system, however we can also create bespoke products for different requirements.

Installing a Sump Pump

Watch below as we install a Packaged Pump Station into a garage floor, to assist with removing any floodwater that may enter.

In this instance, the property was suffering some water ingress into the garage through the walls, and also through a non-FPS Flood barrier.

The Sump Pump was installed into the garage floor to provide a passive solution to remove water from the garage.

Iguazu 635 Packaged Pump Station Sump Pump In Action | Installation and Demonstration

In this video, we showcase how a sump pump operates to protect a small patio area surrounded by a low wall and flood barriers. Despite these precautions, rainwater, roof runoff, and groundwater can still lead to pooling.

Highly recommended.

I’ve had this pump installed in my driveway, and it’s been a game-changer. It features two interchangeable lids: one for everyday use and another with drainage holes. When a flood warning is issued, I simply swap to the perforated lid and deploy my flood barrier. In the past, I needed help setting up puddle pumps, but this system is fully automatic and discreetly installed underground, making flood preparation effortless. It has proven itself multiple times, efficiently pumping water to the other side of my flood wall. Highly recommended.

Great sump kits

I’ve installed loads of these across the country. They’re simple to fit, and the pump with the arm float switch always works well. The pumps last a long time too – I’ve got ones still going strong years after fitting them. Really reliable kit. I’ve hopefully attached a photo of one of the setups pumping out floodwater and keeping a house dry.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
