How to Measure for a Swimming Pool Pump

Swimming Pool Pump Uses:

All series are suited to pumping chlorinated water for swimming pools, both domestic and commercial. They are designed for continuous 24-hour running and can also double up as pond pumps. Ponds also require circulation to prevent them from going stagnant. The pumps can pump water which contains non-abrasive, small solids in suspension. The SMP, Plastica AG and Argonaut ranges can also cope with sea water, so the pumps are recommended for salt water pools, or ponds.

Our Swimming Pool Pump Benefits:

Our swimming pool pumps are incredibly high quality and feature quiet running motors. Lesser pumps may prove audible in operation and disturb a peaceful pond or swimming pool. Our swimming pool pumps all include a 2-year warranty and are available with next day delivery. The pumps are built with reliability at the forefront of the design, with thermoplastic impellers and stainless-steel shafts.

How to Choose the Correct Swimming Pool Pump:

It is important that the flow rate of the pump is correctly matched to the quantity of water in the pool to ensure the water is circulated effectively. Swimming pool experts rule of thumb is to circulate all the water within an 8-hour period. Normally you may consider replacing a pump like for like, however if it has failed prematurely it may have been the incorrect pump for the system, so we recommend following our 5 Easy Steps on How to Choose the Best Swimming Pool Pump.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
