EVAK Residox 400 Ultra-Low-Level | Pumps Down to 1 mm | No Priming Required | 110V & 230V Options

The EVAK Residox 400 is a stainless steel ultra-low-level manual puddle pump, designed to remove standing water down to approximately 1 mm above the floor.

This variant is a manual version, giving the operator full control over when the pump runs, making it suitable for attended flood response, controlled site work and hire fleets across residential, commercial and light-construction settings.

Where the Residox 400 fits

The 400 is the standard model in the Residox range. The maximum flow rate is 250 litres per minute and the pump has an 11-metre head, providing sufficient capacity for most domestic and commercial flood-recovery jobs, basement clearance, internal floor drainage and general nuisance water.

For larger areas, longer hose runs or uphill discharge, the higher-output Residox 750 is the more appropriate choice.

Ultra-low-level pumping

The Residox is designed for jobs that conventional submersible pumps are not suitable for. Where a standard pump stops drawing once the water drops below its inlet or strainer, the Residox continues pumping down to approximately 1 mm above the floor, leaving surfaces almost dry.

That makes it well suited to flood recovery, basement clearance and any application where minimal residual water is the priority.

Built for demanding use

Cast iron pump housing, stainless steel outer case and handle, alloy motor and seal casing, and an abrasion-resistant Hytrel vortex impeller.

The 2 mm free passage handles water typical of flood conditions. A rubberised NBR suction base allows the pump to sit directly on tiles, finished concrete and other delicate surfaces without causing damage.

No priming needed

Unlike some other puddle pumps (such as the Tsurumi LSC range), the Residox does not need to be primed with water poured into the pump body. Place it down in the water to be removed, switch it on, and pump.

The pump is fully submersible and should always be operated submerged or with water present at the suction base and should not be left to run dry.

110V or 230V

Choose 110V for site use with a transformer, or 230V for domestic and general-purpose applications.

How to Attach a Hose to a Water Pump

Floodandwaterpumps.co.uk has been specially designed to simplify the types of pumps into categories to make choosing the best pump for your requirements easy.

We are often asked how to attach the hose to a pump, and have created this 'how-to' video to demonstrate. The pump and accessories listed are all available at floodandwaterpumps.co.uk

What is a Puddle Pump? | Quick Explanation

Puddle pumps are a special type of submersible pump that do not need to be fully submersed in water. They can pump to very low levels of water (i.e a puddle) without the pump overheating or becoming damaged. This removes the need for a chamber to be dug.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
