Can braided hose be used on the suction side of a pump?
Yes. Polyester braid reinforcement holds the bore open under vacuum, so it works on both suction and delivery sides. For larger bore suction work or buried installations, suction and delivery hose is more appropriate.
Can braided hose be used outdoors?
Yes for short term, but it is not specifically UV stabilised. For permanent outdoor installations, choose high pressure delivery hose, which is UV resistant.
