Small Flood Pump Kit | SPP2 Puddle Pump
- Complete pump kit: Includes the pump, hose and accessories
- 70 litres per minute, 6 m maximum head. Clears roughly 4,000 litres an hour at typical lift.
- Pumps down to approximately 2 mm and 3 mm free passage for grit and light debris.
- Manual operation, attended use only. 12, 19 & 25 mm hose outlets
Contractor Dewatering Pump Kit | Tsurumi LB480
- Around 190 litres per minute through the supplied hose. Roughly 11,400 litres an hour at site lift.
- 20 m of 50 mm layflat included. Enough reach for most excavations, and it rolls down to almost nothing.
- 110 V or 230 V. Site transformer or building mains, identical kit either way.

High-Flow Automatic Basement Flood Pump Kit | Evak Residox 750 - 10m
- Around 285 litres per minute through the supplied hose. Roughly 17,000 litres an hour at basement lift.
- Automatic floor sensor. Starts and stops with the water, so it protects the space while nobody is there.
- Built for abrasive water. Stainless case, cast iron housing and a Hytrel vortex impeller that tolerates grit.
- Brass non-return valve included. Nothing runs back down a 10m hose when the pump cuts out.
Swimming Pool Draining Pump Kit | Mizar 60 Submersible Pump
- Around 130 l/m through the supplied hose. A typical 45,000 litre pool in under six hours.
- high grade 304 stainless steel throughout. The grade that resists chlorides, so it suits chlorinated and salt-chlorinated pools.

Each kit is built around a problem to solve, not a pump to sell. We start from the job, whether that is clearing flood water, emptying a swimming pool, dewatering a building site, transferring water from a tank or watering the garden, and use our experience specifying pumps to work out what actually does it.
From there we match the pump to the job, choose the hose for how it will be used, and add the fittings, connections and accessories that go with it. You get a complete, worked-out combination rather than a pump and a pile of parts to sort out yourself.

Why buy a complete pump kit?
Every kit is our answer to a common problem. We have already worked out what solves it and put it in one place, so you can buy the solution rather than research the parts. Buying the pump on its own still makes sense if you have suitable hose and fittings, or you are replacing an existing pump.
We have specified pumps for these jobs for years. Each kit reflects that experience: the pump, hose, fittings and connections chosen to work together for the task, not simply bundled.
The cheapest or most convenient hose is not always the right hose. Reinforced hose suits steps, corners and thresholds; layflat is lightweight and packs down for longer runs. We choose the hose around how the pump will be used.
A pump arriving without the right hose tail, adaptor or clip is not much use when you need to move water. Our kits bring the main components together under one product, so you know what you are buying.

Buying the pump on its own is the right call when you already have suitable hose and fittings. If you are starting from scratch, the kit removes the compatibility guesswork.

Pump kits for different jobs
There is no single pump that is right for every application. The type of water, where it needs to go and how the pump will be used all affect the choice, which is why our kits are built around the job to be done, not simply pump sizes. Each group below is a use case we have prepared kits for.
Flood and basement pump kits
For removing water from garages, cellars, basements, utility rooms, lightwells and other areas affected by flooding. Many of these kits use low-level or puddle pumps that can remove water down much further than a conventional submersible pump.
For occasional flooding you will be present to deal with, a manual pump may be all you need. Where water can arrive while nobody is there, an automatic pump is usually the better choice.
Site and dewatering pump kits
For construction sites, excavations, trenches, foundations and general dirty-water pumping. These applications normally need tougher pumps capable of coping with grit and debris, together with hose that is easy to deploy and withstands repeated use.
Some kits combine reinforced hose for awkward sections with layflat hose for longer runs across open ground.
Petrol water pump kits
A useful option where there is no convenient mains electricity. Petrol pumps sit outside the water and draw it through a suction hose, so the setup needs more than just the pump. The suction hose must be reinforced so it does not collapse, a strainer helps protect the pump, and a suitable delivery hose is needed on the discharge side.

Pool and hot tub pump kits
For emptying swimming pools, hot tubs, spas and other relatively clean-water applications. Using a pump can be considerably quicker than relying on the built-in drain, while low-level pumps can also leave much less water behind at the bottom.
Garden, tank and water transfer pump kits
For moving stored water or using water from tanks, wells and rainwater systems. These applications often need more than high flow alone. Where water is being used for irrigation or sprinklers, the pressure available from the pump also matters.

Specialist pump kits
Some jobs need something more specific. This includes pumps for narrow sump chambers, silty water, ponds, water features and other situations where a conventional general-purpose pump may not be the best fit. These kits bring together equipment chosen around the particular limitation or application.

That distinction matters. A kit is not simply a pump with whichever hose happened to be convenient to bundle with it. We consider the pump, hose diameter, hose type, fittings and application as a complete setup.
You should be able to choose the solution for the job you need to do, without first having to become an expert in pumps, hose and fittings.
How do I choose the right pump kit?
For most applications, you can narrow the choice down with three questions.
Clean water, flood water, dirty water and silty water can require very different pumps. A puddle pump that is excellent at removing shallow water from a garage floor would not be right for a muddy construction trench.
Start with what is actually in the water.
Manual pumps run when you switch them on, ideal for supervised jobs such as draining a pool or clearing flood water while you are present.
Automatic pumps start and stop as the water level changes, better for recurring ingress or where the pump may need to run while nobody is there.
The maximum flow printed on a pump is not necessarily the flow you will see at the end of the hose. Vertical lift, hose length and hose diameter all affect performance.
Choosing a kit designed for the job handles much of this. For an unusually long or uphill run, check the duty or speak to us.
Why hose size matters
A common mistake when buying a pump separately is concentrating on the pump and treating the hose as an afterthought. The two work as a system.
Using unnecessarily narrow hose increases resistance and can significantly reduce the flow from a powerful pump. Hose that is unsuitable for the route can also kink, collapse or simply make the pump awkward to use. That is why our kits match the hose to both the pump and the application.

What is included in a pump kit?
The exact contents vary between kits, but they typically include the pump together with the hose, fittings and connections required for the intended application. Each product page lists exactly what is supplied.
Why buy a pump kit instead of buying everything separately?
The main advantage is compatibility and convenience. You do not need to work out the correct hose bore, fittings and connections individually, because we have already matched them for the job.
Can I still buy the pump on its own?
Yes. Most pumps used in our kits are also available separately across our pump range. Buying the pump alone can be the better option if you already have suitable hose and fittings.
Which pump kit do I need for flooding?
For shallow flood water inside a building, a low-level or puddle pump kit is normally a good starting point. If you will be present when it runs, a manual kit may be sufficient. For recurring flooding where nobody may be present, consider an automatic option.
Can pump kits handle dirty water?
Some can. Pumps differ considerably in the size and type of solids they can handle, so choose a kit designed for dirty water or dewatering where grit, leaves, mud or debris may be present.
Can I extend the hose supplied with a kit?
Usually, yes. Additional hose and extension options are available for many pumps. Longer hose increases resistance and can reduce flow, particularly with smaller hose diameters, so very long runs may need checking.
Do you supply 110V pump kits?
Selected trade and construction pump kits are available in 110V as well as 230V. The available voltage options are shown on the individual product page.
