Build, extend or adapt threaded pipework with BSP fittings in brass, polypropylene and galvanised iron. The range includes elbows, tees, sockets, nipples, reducing bushes and bulkhead fittings in standard British thread sizes. Suitable for clean water, dirty water and most pump installations where rigid pipework is preferred over flexible hose.
Building the pipework.
Elbows, tees, nipples and sockets for the discharge and suction pipework around a pump.
What is in this range
Threaded pipe fittings in polypropylene, nylon and brass: elbows to turn a corner, tees to split a run, nipples and sockets to join lengths, and bulkhead fittings to pass through a tank wall. All use BSP threads, so they mix with our hose tails and valves.
Choosing material and thread
Polypropylene and nylon are light, cheap and corrosion-proof for most clean and waste water; brass is stronger for pressure and heat. Check the BSP size and whether you need a male or female thread before ordering, and add a valve where you need to isolate or stop backflow.
Frequently asked questions.
What thread do these fittings use?
BSP (British Standard Pipe), the standard across UK pumps and hoses. Match the size, for example 1 inch or 1.5 inch, and whether you need male or female.
Polypropylene or brass fittings?
Polypropylene and nylon suit most clean and waste water and resist corrosion. Brass is the choice for higher pressure, heat or heavy-duty installations.
Can I build a discharge manifold?
Yes. Tees, elbows, nipples and sockets let you build up a discharge or suction run to suit the site. Add a non-return or isolation valve where needed.
