Connect hoses to pumps, pipework or each other with the right fitting for the job. Our range covers BSP hose tails in brass, polypropylene and nylon, cam lock couplings (parts A, C, D and E), quick release fittings, lever lock couplings and blanking caps. Sizes from 1/2 inch to 4 inch, suitable for water, and a range of industrial fluids.
Elbow Hose Tail c/w female BSP Swivel - Polypropylene
Connecting a pump to a hose.
The fittings that join your pump outlet to a hose, and keep it secure under pressure.
What you need
Hose tails connect a threaded pump outlet to a flexible hose, in brass or polypropylene with male or female BSP threads. Cam-lock couplings give a fast, tool-free connection for site use, and hose clips and clamps hold everything tight under pressure. Match the BSP thread to your pump outlet and the tail size to your hose bore.
Brass or polypropylene
Brass tails are tougher and handle heat and heavy use; polypropylene is lighter, cheaper and corrosion-proof for clean and waste water. For longer runs, pair these with our hoses, and add a non-return valve on the discharge if needed.
Frequently asked questions.
What size hose tail do I need?
Match two things: the BSP thread on your pump outlet (for example 1 inch, 1.5 inch or 2 inch) and the bore of your hose. The tail steps the thread down to the hose size.
What is a cam coupling?
A cam-lock coupling is a quick-release connector with two lever arms. It lets you join and separate hoses by hand in seconds, with no tools, which is ideal on site.
Brass or polypropylene hose tails?
Brass for durability, heat and heavy use; polypropylene for lower cost and corrosion resistance on clean or waste water. Both seal on a BSP thread.
