Speroni CTX Single-Stage Centrifugal Surface Pump (400V Three-Phase)

The three-phase version of the CMX, more efficient on continuous duty where 400V supply is available.

The CTX is the 400V three-phase version of the Speroni CMX. It is the same pump, the same stainless steel construction, the same performance, but with a three-phase motor. On any site where three-phase supply is available, the CTX is the better choice: more efficient, runs cooler on continuous duty, and typically cheaper to run over the life of the pump.

Three-phase motors deliver smoother power than single-phase. For continuous-duty applications, agricultural use, industrial installations, and commercial buildings with three-phase supply, this matters. You get more reliability, less heat, and lower running cost.

Where the Speroni CTX Pump is Used

Industrial water transfer and processing. Agricultural irrigation where three-phase supply is available. Air-conditioning and chilled water circulation. Treatment plants and washdown systems. Cooling loops in industrial buildings. Light chemical handling (seal spec permitting). Fire booster systems (with appropriate controls).

Stainless Steel Construction

The CTX is built in stainless steel 304 where it matters. The pump body, impeller, shaft, and pump flange are all stainless 304, with a silicon carbide and EPDM mechanical seal that resists aggressive fluids, and a cast aluminium motor support.

This is what makes the pump suitable for moderately aggressive liquids, light chemicals, food washdown, glycol solutions, chlorinated pool water, and industrial process water where a standard cast iron pump would corrode quickly. 

When to Choose CTX Over CMX

Choose the CTX if your site has a three-phase electrical supply, if the pump will run for long periods or continuously, or if the installation is industrial, agricultural, or commercial. Choose the CMX instead if your site has only a domestic 230V supply or the pump will run intermittently in a residential installation.

Choosing Between the Models

Same principle as the CMX: the first number in the model name is the approximate flow in l/min, the second is the motor power in kW.

This pump is not WRAS approved and is not for drinking water supply. It is suitable for irrigation, sprinklers, fire systems, rainwater harvesting, cooling loops, and industrial or agricultural water.
