Who are Plastica Pumps?

Plastica were founded in 1972, recently achieving a significant milestone marking half a century as an independent swimming pool manufacturer and swimming pool pump supplier. Plastica are based in the UK, with a 13,000 square metre factory at St Leonards on Sea.

Plastica iFlo Pool Pump

The iFlo range is Plastica's entry level swimming pool pump line, designed for smaller pools where simplicity, reliabilty and cost matter. Despite a lower price point, you don't have to compromise, with a heavy duty, air-cooled motor for continuous use. A large strainer basket and high-load, self-priming impeller help maintain consistent circulation. The three models include the SFP075 (0.75hp), SFP100 (1hp) and SFP150 (1.5hp) and offer flow rates from 166 to 283 l/min. All iFlo swimming pool pumps use industry standard 1.5" 50mm pool pipe with a female BSP hose tail union. 

Plastica AG Series Pool Pumps

Manufactured in the UK, the Plastica AG Series Swimming pool pumps are a higher grade pump designed for residential and above-ground pools, as well as ornamental ponds. With engineered reliabilty and an impressive quiet operation at around 55dB. Built with a self-priming capability up to 1.8 metres, this pump has an IP55 heavy-duty motor, with a stainless steel shaft, it is suitable for chlorine, bromine, iodine and high-salt systems. Features include a 1.65L strainer, with clear inspection lid and 50mm ABS solvent-weld unions attached to male BSP thread. Models include the AG8‑2DC (150 L/min), AG10‑2DC (183 L/min), AG14‑2DC (233 L/min) and AG16‑2DC (266 L/min), ideal for users seeking a durable, quiet pump for smaller pools.

Plastica Argonaut Pool Pumps

The Plastica Argonaut AV series of Swimming pool pumps are UK engineered. Built for high performance, efficiency and long-term reliability. Manufactured and quality‑controlled in East Sussex, it offers power options from 0.33 HP to 2.0 HP in both single‑phase (230 V) and three‑phase (400 V) versions, making it suitable for everything from domestic pools to heavier‑duty applications. Self‑priming up to 3 m, an IP55 heavy‑duty motor, quiet 60 dB operation, and an carbon/ceramic mechanical seal, it’s designed for demanding environments, including high‑salt systems. Features a large 1.75 L strainer basket and 63 mm/2″ unions (with 50 mm/1.5″ reducers) provide consistent strong flow and easy installation.
