The DAB Divertron is a 6 inch electronic multi-impeller submersible pump that turns itself on and off automatically as taps and valves open and close. Built for clean water duties such as irrigation, rainwater harvesting and domestic water supply, the Divertron combines pressure pump convenience with the simplicity of a fully submersible unit. There is no need for a separate pressure switch, tank or controller.

Construction and Durability
The Divertron is built from corrosion resistant technopolymer with stainless steel internal components, including AISI 304 stainless steel impellers, an AISI 303 stainless steel motor shaft and a stainless steel debris strainer. The motor is a continuous duty submersible asynchronous unit, sealed to IP68 with thermal overload protection, an aluminium motor case and an AISI 416 stainless steel rotor shaft. A non return valve is built into the delivery to hold pressure between operations. The motor is cooled efficiently, allowing the pump to run even when only partially submerged, which extends its useful range and reliability.

The Divertron removes the need for a separate pressure switch, tank and controller. Its built in electronics monitor flow and pressure and start the pump the moment a tap or sprinkler opens, then stop it again when demand stops. Dry run protection looks after the motor if the water source drops. This makes it well suited to homeowners and smallholders who want a tidy, low maintenance installation that behaves like a domestic pressure system but lives inside the tank or well.
