Corrosion resistant stainless steel inserts, a stainless steel locking clamp and a bi-material shaft with an AISI 304 stainless steel drive end all resist the effects of water and pool chemicals, and sealed SKF bearings keep the motor running smoothly. The induction asynchronous motor is IPX5 rated, with thermal protection on single phase models and IE2 efficiency on three phase models, and a mechanical seal protects the shaft.
