Over the past 14 years, we have supplied tens of thousands of pumps, barriers and consultancy services, establishing ourselves as a leading name in flood risk management and water pump supply.
FloodandWaterPumps.co.uk is part of Flood Protection Solutions Ltd, in the FPS Group®, was founded in 2012 to improve the way people access flood protection products, water pumps and practical flood risk support.
What Sets Us Apart
FloodandWaterPumps.co.uk was created because accessing good quality water pumps used to be unnecessarily difficult. Information was unclear, product advice was inconsistent, and many suppliers were simply drop‑shipping with no technical knowledge.
We changed that.
As an engineering‑led business, we combine hands‑on experience with clear, practical pump guidance. We were the first UK water pump supplier to produce detailed product videos, and the first specialist e‑commerce pump store in the sector. Many competitors later followed our approach, but we continue to lead with innovation, transparency and technical expertise.
Our team has been trusted to advise on national flood risk policy at Parliament, and our flood experts are regularly featured on Sky News and BBC News. Our customer base ranges from homeowners and small businesses through to the NHS, water companies, the Environment Agency and blue‑chip organisations.
Comprehensive Knowledge
FloodandWaterPumps.co.uk sits within Flood Protection Solutions Ltd. We also install pumps where designs already exist, and for more complex drainage requirements our sister company, FPS Environmental Ltd, provides full drainage, SuDS Design and Land Development Engineering.
While we cannot give site‑specific advice over the phone, our trained pump specialists will help guide you to the right product and ensure you understand how and when a pump should be used.
Easy Online Shopping
We built this website from the ground up as a bespoke platform to make pump selection straightforward. Although online ordering is easy, our Nottingham‑based team is also available by phone for customers who prefer to order directly or need help choosing the right product.
Large Stock and Fast Delivery
We hold significant stock across our two sites in Epperstone, Nottinghamshire. Our range includes leading manufacturers such as Tsurumi, Stream, EVAK, APP and Speroni. Our Stream SPP‑2 Submersible Puddle Pump is one of the best‑selling puddle pumps on Amazon.
Click & Collect Water Pumps in Nottingham
Click & Collect is now available on selected water pumps from our Nottingham warehouse. If a pump is in stock locally, the “Pickup in Store” option will appear automatically at checkout. This gives you a fast and convenient way to collect your pump the same day, ideal for urgent floods, last‑minute jobs or when you want to save on delivery.
Click & Collect currently includes our most popular models such as:
- Stream SPP‑2 Submersible Puddle Pump
- Stream SPK530 Water Pump
- APP, EGO and EVAK models (where stocked locally)
More brands and models will be added to our Click & Collect range as warehouse availability expands.
Simply place your order online, choose “Pickup in Store” when the option appears, and we will notify you as soon as your pump is ready for collection.
We are suppliers of Water Pumps in Nottingham.
Environmental Commitment
Our Epperstone warehouse features solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint. We measure our emissions and are targeting Net Zero by 2030 across our buildings, fleet and waste. We are also committed to safe working practices and simple procurement, supported by our SSIP accreditations including CHAS and PQS.
Fighting climate change – Effective stewardship of the environment
We work to drive down carbon emissions and our carbon footprint, developing innovative thinking in our working practices to find more effective solutions of waste management and disposal. We are targeting net zero by 2030 and generate Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) across our supply chain to record, collate, control and continually develop. We are updating our fleet of vehicles to electric and incentivising those eligible for company cars to choose electric vehicle options. Our carbon management considers sustainability in the homes we recommend flood resilience measures for, and our business operation.
We encourage environmental volunteering opportunities, the FPS team were tree planting in Nottingham and Cheshire and clearing rubbish from watercourses, for Severn Trent Water, Cheshire East Council and Cheshire Wildlife Trust with 9,400 trees planted on 22nd and 23rd February at the 15-acre site.
Expert Support and Guidance
Choosing the right pump is crucial. Our team can help you on 0115 987 0358, and we offer a growing library of helpful videos such as “Installing a Sump Pump in a Garage Floor” and “Manual vs Automatic Pump”. We remain one of the only pump suppliers in the UK to invest heavily in video education to support customer decision making.
Where Product Advice Ends and Engineering Begins
We are a responsible supplier, not a design service. Some enquiries require engineering judgement rather than product advice. Where levels, distances, foul drainage or system performance are involved, pump selection becomes engineering design, not retail guidance. To protect customers and ensure systems are designed correctly, we do not give site‑specific advice without a defined scope. This is explained further in our blog“When Pump Advice Becomes Engineering Responsibility”, which sets out why proper calculations, accountability and Professional Indemnity cover matter.
Aftersales and Troubleshooting
We operate a dedicated ticketing system, along with a Troubleshooting form, to ensure any queries or issues are responded to quickly and effectively.
Consultancy and Community Support
Our consultancy work spans the UK. We regularly help homeowners, businesses and public sector organisations plan and review flood protection schemes. Far too often we see people buy the wrong pump, or a poor‑quality pump that fails when it is needed most. Reliable pumps save properties, time and money.
We continue to support community resilience. Examples include donating an LSC puddle pump to Botcherby Community Centre for the Cumbria Flood Resilience Showcase, and loaning an engine‑driven pump to a local Scout Group to complete essential drainage work.
