TSURUMI Pumps are the manufacturer of the LSC1.4S puddle sucking pump. The manufacturer offers a 3-year product guarantee as standard, giving the added reassurance that you will get a product that is built to last.

Aptly named the puddle-sucker, the LSC1.4S is capable of pumping water down to just 1mm (with the additional extension probes), making it the perfect choice of pump if you are looking to pump either big or small areas of water that can be found on flat surfaces. The common applications for the LSC1.4S puddle sucker are hire fleets, flood control, lift shafts, fixed installations, utilities and in construction.

Due to the design, and the dual-position outlet port, the outlet hose for this pump can be positioned vertically or horizontally. For additional sturdiness, the outer casing is made from pressed steel and a pump stand made with cast aluminium. The water puddle sucker pump delivers its promise of extreme reliability and high performance. To prevent the backflow of water coming from the discharge hose, there is an integral swing check valve included.

This pump can comfortably operate for prolonged periods of time with very little water at all due to the air and water-cooling route to the top outlet. The pump should not be left to run dry.

110V: designed for heavy-duty site use, however, a transformer is needed for them to operate.

230V: compatible with standard domestic 3 pin plug sockets.

The pump can be supplied as a manual or automatic models. Please note the extension probes are only for the automatic model.

Alternatives:

You may wish to also consider the Stream SPK530 for a cost effective alternative, or for a more powerful puddle pump, you may wish to use the EVAK Residox.

Automatic models:

For fixed installations the SwitchH20 and Panel is recommended. This consists of 3 probes in 304 stainless steel. It is supplied with a control panel and 10m of cable. It allows automatic pumping down to 5mm.

For portable use, the sensor is recommended. This is an electronic float switch with 2 stainless steel probes. They are encapsulated in an impact resistant moulded rubber. This can still be used for fixed installations or narrow sumps. As an optional extra, extension probes are available to enable pumping down between 85mm and circa 1mm. Watch the Extension Probe Video here. The extensions are available to buy here: 170mm Sensor Extension Probes.

When the probes touch water, the pump will start and continue to operate for one minute after the water falls below it. However, if the water touches the probe within this time, the “stop” signal is cancelled and the pump continues to run until the water is cleared.

Please note: As standard we supply 25mm outlets. Please select 50mm if you require a 50mm outlet.

What's in the box:

  • 1x LSC Water Puddle Pump
  • 1x 10m Heavy duty rubber power cable
  • 1x Hose tail

How to Attach a Hose to a Water Pump

Floodandwaterpumps.co.uk has been specially designed to simplify the types of pumps into categories to make choosing the best pump for your requirements easy.

We are often asked how to attach the hose to a pump, and have created this 'how-to' video to demonstrate. The pump and accessories listed are all available at floodandwaterpumps.co.uk

Which Hose Should I use with my Water Pump?

Layflat hose is very affordable but can kink. Depending on your use, you may be better using a reinforced suction delivery hose for your needs.

Suction delivery hose is ideal for pumping up stairs or over obstacles.

Jonathan Martin explains the differences to help you choose which hose is best for your scenario.

What are Sensor Extension Probes?

As an optional extra, extension probes are available for the Auto Sensor model, which enable pumping down between 85mm and circa 1mm. The extensions are an optional extra and available here:170mm Sensor Extension Probes.

LSC Pump

I spoke to quite few people regarding flood protection for our property. Flood Protection Solutions were by far the most impressive. In particular Simon's level of passion and expertise. Feeling a lot more hopeful about being able to stay in our beautiful country cottage long-term.

Our patio continually floods due to poor drainage, but I didnt really know where to start. After a good deal of research and viewing videos on YouTube, I thought I might need a puddle pump. I then called Jonathan at Flood Protection Solutions. He was brilliant at asking what the problem was and what ideally we would need. He recommended the LSC1.4s pump as it pumps water away down to 1mm. The pump is small, quiet and extremely robust. I can't believe the speed and efficiency with which it cleared the patio. I would wholeheartedly recommend both the company and the product.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
