WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

Tsurumi LSC 1.4S Puddle Pump – Pumps Down to 1mm

TSURUMI Pumps are the original manufacturer of the LSC 1.4S puddle sucker pump – a high-performance, ultra-reliable submersible pump designed for surface water removal. It comes with a 3-year product guarantee as standard, giving you peace of mind that you're investing in a product built to last.

Why Choose the LSC 1.4S Puddle Sucker Pump?

Aptly named the puddle-sucker, the LSC1.4S can pump water down to just 1mm when used with the optional extension probes. Whether you're tackling large or small surface water areas, this pump is ideal for flat surfaces.

Construction and Build Quality

This puddle pump is engineered with a dual-position outlet port, so the discharge hose can be fitted vertically or horizontally depending on your setup. The pressed steel outer casing and cast aluminium pump stand provide robustness and stability, even in demanding environments.

Tsurumi LSC outlet

A built-in non-return valve helps prevent backflow through the discharge hose, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Extended Use, Built-In Cooling

Thanks to a clever air and water-cooling route to the top outlet, this pump can run for extended periods – even with minimal water levels. (Note: It should not be run dry for extended periods.)

01

Water collects

Rainwater or seepage flows in via the gravity inlet and pools at the bottom of the buried chamber.

02

Float arm rises

As the level climbs, the arm float lifts. At the trigger height it closes the switch contact.

03

Pump discharges

The Ama-Drainer N 301 powers up, lifting water through the riser and out to the sewer.

04

Cut-out at low level

The arm drops as water clears. The switch opens and the pump rests until the next cycle.

Water

Foul or surface water collected from the gravity inlet at the side of the chamber.

Pump

Submersible Ama-Drainer N 301, switched by the float arm.

Trigger

Arm float switch closes the circuit at the high-water mark and opens at cut-out.

Chamber

Robust MDPE shell with flanged base to anchor against buoyancy and ground movement.

How to Attach a Hose to a Water Pump

Floodandwaterpumps.co.uk has been specially designed to simplify the types of pumps into categories to make choosing the best pump for your requirements easy.

We are often asked how to attach the hose to a pump, and have created this 'how-to' video to demonstrate. The pump and accessories listed are all available at floodandwaterpumps.co.uk

Which Hose Should I use with my Water Pump?

Layflat hose is very affordable but can kink. Depending on your use, you may be better using a reinforced suction delivery hose for your needs.

Suction delivery hose is ideal for pumping up stairs or over obstacles.

Jonathan Martin explains the differences to help you choose which hose is best for your scenario.

What are Sensor Extension Probes?

As an optional extra, extension probes are available for the Auto Sensor model, which enable pumping down between 85mm and circa 1mm. The extensions are an optional extra and available here:

170mm Sensor Extension Probes.
