WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

Our 25mm (1 inch) suction and delivery hose is one of our most popular small-bore sizes, matched to the 1 inch ports found on many domestic and light-trade pumps. The reinforced PVC wall and nylon spiral-helix keep the bore fully open under vacuum and around corners, so your pumping rate stays high whether the hose is on the suction or the delivery side.

It suits everyday transfer and drainage tasks: small submersible and transfer pumps, garden and allotment irrigation, rainwater harvesting feeds and tank-to-tank transfer. Light at 0.30 kg per metre yet tough enough to be walked on or buried, it is rated to 7 bar and supplied in 6m, 10m, 15m, 20m and 30m coils. Always match the hose bore to your pump port: going smaller restricts flow and can cause suction-side cavitation.

Which Hose Should I use with my Water Pump?

Layflat hose is very affordable but can kink. Depending on your use, you may be better using a reinforced suction delivery hose for your needs.

Suction delivery hose is ideal for pumping up stairs or over obstacles.

Jonathan Martin explains the differences to help you choose which hose is best for your scenario.
