Speroni GA(M) 100 Single Stage Centrifugal Pump
Built for the job
Open-impeller centrifugal pump for slightly dirty water and agricultural transfer.
The GA(M)100 is an open-impeller single-stage centrifugal pump designed for agricultural and horticultural transfer where the water is not quite clean. A closed-impeller pump (like the C(M) or CF(M)) will clog on slightly dirty water because solids get caught between the impeller vanes. The GA(M)100’s open impeller lets small debris pass through without jamming the pump.
This is a high-flow, low-head pump: serious volume delivered at modest pressure. That spec makes it ideal for moving large amounts of water short distances in irrigation and transfer applications.
Where the Speroni GAM100 (230v) and GA100 (400v) are Used
Agricultural irrigation from storage tanks. Horticultural watering and greenhouse supply. Industrial transfer of slightly dirty water. General circulation in processing lines. Pond top-up and transfer (not pond circulation, which needs a dedicated pond pump).
The brass impeller adds corrosion resistance compared to standard cast iron impellers and handles light solids better.
Slightly Dirty Water: What Does That Mean?
The GA(M)100 can handle water with suspended fine solids, slight discolouration, or light organic content. It is not a sewage pump. It will not handle raw sewage, large solids, or debris bigger than a few millimetres. If your water has visible particles larger than small grit, you need a drainage or sewage pump instead.
For fully clean water applications, the Speroni C(M) or Speroni CF(M) will give better efficiency and longer service life.
Not Self-Priming
The GA(M)100 is not self-priming. It needs flooded suction, or a primed suction line with a foot valve, before starting.
