Mid-size stainless steel horizontal multistage pump for sprinklers, irrigation, and non-potable pressurisation.
The RSX(M)4 is a horizontal multistage booster pump with a full stainless steel 304 wet end. It is one of Speroni Pumps’ mid-size multistage pumps, sitting between the compact RSX2 and the higher-flow RSX10.
Multistage pumps stack multiple impellers in series. Each stage adds pressure without adding flow, which is why a small motor can produce very high head: useful for boosting, sprinklers, and tall buildings.
The RSX(M)4 range offers 3, 4, 5, and 6 stage versions, which lets you pick the exact head you need without over-specifying the motor.
The stainless construction makes this pump suitable for clean potable water applications, including rainwater harvesting systems and food-adjacent washing lines. The smooth flow path inside the pump means it runs virtually silent, which is why multistage pumps are the default choice for pressurisation sets in occupied buildings.
Where the Speroni RSX4 and RSXM4 are Used
Sprinkler and irrigation systems. Washing and food processing lines (including potable). Stored-water systems in multi-storey buildings. Cooling system circulation. Fire-fighting boost (with appropriate controls). Horticultural and greenhouse pressurisation.
Suitable for potable water from a tank or private supply (not for direct mains, not WRAS approved).

Choosing Between the Stage Counts
- More stages means more pressure, flow rate stays roughly the same across the range.
- Pick based on the head you need: 3 stages for moderate pressure, 6 stages for high pressure.
- Models with M in the name are 230V single-phase; without M are 400V three-phase. Choose three-phase if your site has it available.
Not Self-Priming
The RSX(M)4 is not self-priming. It needs flooded suction: the water source must be above or level with the pump inlet, or the suction line must be primed with a foot valve.
