Construction and Durability

The TDS range is built around a Honda OHV petrol engine housed in a robust steel roll frame fitted with anti vibration rubbers, protecting the pump head during transport and on rough ground. The semi trash design uses elongated bolts through the pump housing so the casing can be opened quickly for inspection or to clear blockages. Tsurumi engineering means the pump is built to last on demanding sites, and the Honda Oil Alert system shuts the engine down to protect it if the oil level drops too low. The TDS will handle solids up to 20 mm without the need for a strainer to remove them, giving an extra 12 mm of free passage compared with many Koshin equivalents.
