ESPA Repospool 100M: The Easy Replacement Pool Pump

The ESPA Repospool 100 M is a 1 HP single phase pool pump designed specifically to make replacing an old or failed pump simple. Its patented adjustable design lets you change the height, position and connection length to match almost any existing setup, so you can swap out a pump from another brand without re-plumbing or moving pipework. Built for small and medium residential pools, it offers quiet operation, a flow rate of up to 22 m3/h and corrosion resistant materials, and it is compatible with salt water pools up to 6 g/l. For anyone retrofitting a pool pump, it takes the hassle out of the job.

Construction and durability

The Repospool is built to last in a poolside environment. The pump body, lid, impeller and diffuser are made from durable polymer that will not corrode, the pump shaft is AISI 431 stainless steel and the mechanical seal is AISI 316 stainless steel, while the motor housing is aluminium and the seals are NBR. The two-pole asynchronous motor is rated IPX5 with class F insulation, has built-in thermal protection and is designed for continuous duty (S1), so it can run day in, day out. Salt resistance up to 6 g/l makes it suitable for salt chlorinated pools, and it handles water up to 40 degrees C. Together with its quiet running, this makes a rugged, low maintenance pump that is well suited to long-term residential use.

Why choose the ESPA Repospool 100M?

Choose the Repospool when you need to replace an existing pool pump with the least possible disruption. Its standout feature is the patented adjustable design: the height, position and connection lengths can all be altered to line up with your current pipework, so in most cases you can fit it without cutting pipe or moving fittings. That saves time and installation cost, and avoids the headache of trying to match the footprint of a discontinued pump. On top of that you get genuinely quiet operation, strong flow for small and medium pools, high salt tolerance up to 6 g/l, and corrosion resistant materials throughout. For a straightforward, reliable replacement pump, it is hard to beat.

How to Choose the Correct Swimming Pool Pump:

It is important that the flow rate of the pump is correctly matched to the quantity of water in the pool to ensure the water is circulated effectively. Swimming pool experts rule of thumb is to circulate all the water within an 8-hour period. Normally you may consider replacing a pump like for like, however if it has failed prematurely it may have been the incorrect pump for the system, so we recommend following our
