The Evak Drainox 400 and 750 are submersible site drainage pumps designed for the demanding conditions of construction sites, civils projects and flood response. With a stainless steel jacket, cast iron pump body and an abrasion resistant Hytrel vortex impeller, the Drainox is built to keep working in water that contains grit, silt and suspended solids.

The Drainox is engineered for harsh site environments. The outer cover, handle and strainer base are formed in stainless steel, while the pump housing is FC20 cast iron and the motor housing and seal casing are ADC12 alloy, giving an extremely hard wearing structure that can take knocks and drops on site. The vortex impeller is moulded in Hytrel, a flexible abrasion resistant polymer that handles gritty water without rapid wear. Internally the pump runs a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber and an auto reset thermal protector for the motor, and ships with a 10 metre heavy duty H07RN-F cable.
The Drainox is a contractor grade dewatering pump available in the voltage you need, including 110V (manual or automatic), 230V automatic and 400V three phase, which suits temporary site duties through to permanent installations. The Hytrel impeller, double mechanical seal and rugged stainless and cast iron build give it the durability site work demands, while a minimum working water level of just 53 mm means it keeps pumping until very little water is left to lift. It is a strong choice for buyers who want a long life dewatering pump rather than a disposable one.
