Our 100mm (4 inch) layflat hose carries the output of high capacity dewatering, trash and engine driven pumps with a full 102mm bore. Its stand out advantage is weight: at 0.55 kg per metre it is roughly a quarter the weight of the equivalent rigid hose, which transforms how quickly a long discharge run can be laid, moved and recovered during a flood response.
That combination of bore and portability suits major basement and site floods, lagoon and tank transfers, and civil projects where discharge must reach a distant watercourse or drain. The yarn reinforced PVC is rated to 3.5 bar and drags well over rough ground. As with all layflat, it is delivery only; specify our 100mm suction and delivery hose for the pump's inlet or for crush prone crossings. Coils from 6m to 100m.
