MicroForce Packaged Pump Station, high-flow 230V flood system
The MicroForce is the highest-flow 230V packaged station we supply, with a maximum flow rate of 830 litres per minute and a maximum rated head of 10 metres, from a standard domestic single-phase supply.
It pairs a 190 litre chamber with the APP HD-15 submersible automatic pump and is built for one job: removing large volumes of flood water quickly, on sites where a lot of water arrives at once.
What it is for
Permanent installations at flood-risk properties, where the volume of water arriving is beyond what a standard station can clear. It will pump water carrying sand, silt and fine particles.
Designed for high inflow conditions, the MicroForce system is ideal for sites at flood risk. It is not suitable for low-flow or small scale floods, to avoid rapid on/off cycling.
If your site sees small or intermittent volumes, a standard Iguazu Sump 635 is the better and cheaper choice, and will last longer because it will not short cycle.
This system should be installed with appropriate drainage connections to allow water to flow freely into the chamber. A high-flow pump can only perform if water can reach it at the same rate.
Not suitable for foul water.

Key features
- Very high flow for a 230V supply, up to 830 litres per minute
- 230V single-phase operation, no three-phase supply required
- 190 litre chamber for collection
- 3 inch discharge outlet with non-return valve included
- Handles water carrying sand, silt and fine particles
- Compact for the output it delivers
Flow rate and head
The APP HD-15A has a maximum flow rate of 830 litres per minute and a maximum rated head of 10 metres.
These are the two ends of the pump curve rather than a single duty point: at 10 metres the flow has fallen to zero, and the full 830 litres per minute is only available with no lift at all. What you actually get sits between the two, where the curve meets the resistance of your pipework. Our pump performance calculator works that out for your pipe run, and how to read a pump curve explains the principle.
The chamber
- Robust MDPE chamber, 190 litre storage capacity
- 610mm diameter x 635mm high
- 3 inch discharge with non-return valve
- 450mm pedestrian rated cover and frame
- 1 year warranty (terms apply)
Full pump performance figures are in the specification table further down this page.
Installation and discharge
Depending on the desired installation, these chambers are often connected with suction and delivery hose, matched to the outlet size. On this station the outlet is 3 inch, so use 3 inch rigid pipework or 3 inch suction and delivery hose. 2 inch hose can also be used subject to the suitable hose tail adaptor.
Delivery
This is a built-to-order item, so delivery takes slightly longer than usual, typically 3 to 5 days.
Supplied as a complete plug and play unit, ready for installation. Some on-site work is required, including reconnecting components, drilling entry holes for cables and routing wiring through a suitable conduit. Read our guide to installing a sump pump.
Images are indicative only. Photographs may show optional extras, accessories or pipework that are not included in this listing, and the chamber is shown cut open in some images to reveal the internal components. Your chamber is supplied whole. Please refer to the specification and the list of what is included above.
Important: design and installation is site specific
Pump station design and installation is site specific. You should always consult a suitably qualified engineer to determine the correct configuration and installation method for your application, and a qualified electrician for the electrical connection.
We supply equipment. We do not provide site-specific design or installation advice over the phone, because the correct configuration depends on levels, flows, ground conditions and the discharge route.
