Speroni 2C(M) Twin Stage Centrifugal Pumps

Twin-stage cast iron centrifugal pump for sprinklers and agricultural pressurisation, between single-stage and multistage.

The 2C(M) is a twin-stage centrifugal pump: two impellers mounted on a single shaft, arranged in series so each impeller adds pressure to the flow from the one before it.

This puts the 2C(M) in between single-stage pumps (simpler but lower pressure) and full multistage pumps (more impellers, higher pressure still, but more complex).

The twin-stage design is the sweet spot for many agricultural and horticultural applications. You get genuinely useful pressure at meaningful flow rates, from a robust cast iron pump that will run reliably in farm conditions.

Where the Speroni 2C and 2CM are Used

Agricultural sprinkler systems. Horticultural irrigation. Non-potable pressurisation of water supply on farms and smallholdings. Industrial water transfer with a pressure requirement. Mixing and circulating duties in processing. Washing systems requiring consistent pressure.

The 2C(M) is often the correct answer when a single-stage centrifugal pump does not have enough head and a full multistage pump is more than you need.

Choosing Between the Speroni 2C(M) Models

The higher-powered versions (3kW and 4kW) are only available in 400V three-phase. Pick based on the flow and head you need, stepping up in motor size as demand increases.

On the model codes, 25/160, 25/180, 32/190, this follows the European pump industry standard (EN 733 / DIN 24255 sizing). The first number (25 or 32) is the nominal outlet size in mm (25mm = 1", 32mm = 1¼"). The second number (160, 180, 190) is the nominal impeller diameter in mm.

An M at the end of the model name (CM, RSM, RVM, CAM) means 230V single-phase. No M means 400V three-phase.

Not Self-Priming

The 2C(M) is not self-priming. It needs flooded suction, or a primed suction line with a foot valve.

This pump is not WRAS approved and is not for drinking water supply. It is suitable for irrigation, sprinklers, fire systems, rainwater harvesting, cooling loops, and industrial or agricultural water.
