The Tsurumi 50PNI2 is an automatic submersible drainage pump manufactured by Tsurumi Pump. It is designed for sewage and drainage applications and features GFRP (glass fibre-reinforced polymer) construction, vortex impellers and a silicon carbide shaft seal. The bell-shaped, compact float design makes the 50PNI2 well suited to applications where a sump is narrow, where precise water level control is required, or where a traditional pendant-type float could be fouled.

Construction and Durability
The pump body is GFRP construction, providing corrosion resistance and durability. Vortex impellers allow solids to pass through the pump without direct contact with the impeller blades, reducing blockage risk. The silicon carbide shaft seal provides wear resistance in demanding conditions. The bell-shaped compact floats offer more precise on/off water level control than pendant-type floats, and are less likely to be fouled in confined or narrow sump installations. Free passage is 10mm on both models.

The compact float design sets the 50PNI2 apart in applications where standard pendant floats are impractical or unreliable. Both models are automatic, removing the need for external level controls. An optional auto-coupling (TOK4-P) is available for permanent sump installations where the pump needs to be raised and lowered without disconnecting pipework. Available in two power ratings to suit the application.
