WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

Tsurumi LSC2.75S Submersible Puddle Pump – Low Level Water Removal

The Tsurumi LSC2.75S submersible puddle pump is a powerful, professional‑grade solution for fast and efficient low‑level water removal. Designed for heavy‑duty use and trusted across construction, utilities and flood response, this 230V puddle pump delivers exceptional performance, reliability and long‑term durability.

Often referred to as a “puddle sucker”, the LSC2.75S can pump water down to just 1mm, making it ideal where standard submersible pumps leave water behind.

What is the Tsurumi LSC2.75S pump used for?

The Tsurumi LSC2.75S is specifically designed for applications where shallow water needs to be removed quickly and completely. Unlike conventional pumps, it remains fully submerged while clearing water down to almost nothing.

Typical applications include:

  • Flooded basements and cellars
  • Garages, workshops and commercial floors
  • Construction sites and groundworks
  • Flat roofs, slabs and screeds
  • Utility maintenance and emergency flood clean‑ups

With a maximum flow rate of 230 litres per minute and a maximum head of 15 metres, it is suitable for both domestic flood recovery and large‑scale commercial or industrial use.

Construction and Durability

Built to withstand demanding site conditions, the LSC2.75S puddle pump is engineered for longevity and reliability.

Key construction features include:

  • Pressed steel outer casing for impact resistance
  • Cast aluminium pump stand for added stability
  • Robust internal components designed for continuous use
  • Integral swing check non‑return valve to prevent back‑flow from the discharge hose

This heavy‑duty design ensures consistent performance even in tough environments, making it a trusted choice for professionals.

Why choose the Tsurumi LSC2.75S?

The LSC2.75S stands out from standard submersible pumps due to its true low‑level pumping capability combined with Tsurumi’s renowned build quality.

  • Pumps water down to 1mm – no manual clean‑up required
  • Fully submersible during operation
  • High flow rate for rapid water removal
  • Dual‑position outlet for flexible hose routing
  • Backed by a 3‑year manufacturer’s guarantee

Operational Details

The dual‑position outlet port allows the discharge hose to be positioned vertically or horizontally, making installation easier in confined or awkward spaces.

  • 230V single‑phase power supply
  • Designed for continuous operation
  • Stable base for flat surface pumping
  • Suitable for clean and lightly contaminated water

Sensor Switch

How it works: When the probes detect water, the pump activates and continues running for one minute after water drops below the probe. If water touches the probe again within that time, it continues running until clear.

NOTE: Probe extensions are only available on the Sensor options.

HOW-TO

How-to videos

Which Hose Should I use with my Water Pump?

Layflat hose is very affordable but can kink. Depending on your use, you may be better using a reinforced suction delivery hose for your needs.

Suction delivery hose is ideal for pumping up stairs or over obstacles.

Jonathan Martin explains the differences to help you choose which hose is best for your scenario.

How to Attach a Hose to a Water Pump

Floodandwaterpumps.co.uk has been specially designed to simplify the types of pumps into categories to make choosing the best pump for your requirements easy.

We are often asked how to attach the hose to a pump, and have created this 'how-to' video to demonstrate. The pump and accessories listed are all available at floodandwaterpumps.co.uk

Common questions

Can the Tsurumi LSC2.75S pump floodwater or sewage?

It is for floodwater and dirty site water, not sewage. It handles rainwater, groundwater, standing water and dirty water at 0 to 40°C, with solids up to about 6mm, and its rubber and urethane parts resist wear from sand and silt in suspension. Do not use it for raw sewage, toilet waste, water with stringy or fibrous solids, or flammable liquids.

How low does the LSC2.75S pump water?

It pumps water down to about 1mm. The manual version runs until you switch it off. The Sensor version switches on at about 85mm and runs for one minute after water drops below its probes, with an off level as low as about 1mm depending on the area. The H20 Panel version uses SwitcH2O probes set to switch on between 15 and 50mm and off between 5 and 40mm.

Should I choose the manual, Sensor or H20 Panel LSC2.75S?

Choose manual where someone stays with the pump and switches it, the Sensor for automatic portable use, narrow sumps and shallow water, and the H20 Panel for a permanent fixed installation. The Sensor uses two stainless steel probes and needs no panel. The H20 Panel uses three SwitcH2O probes (on, off and common) with a Multi 1-P control panel, so start and stop levels are set by where you cut the probes.

How much water does the LSC2.75S pump?

Up to 230 litres per minute, with a maximum head (vertical lift) of 15 metres, from a 750W motor. Those maximums sit at opposite ends of the pump curve, so the flow you get falls as the lift rises and as longer or narrower hose, bends and fittings add resistance. Keep the discharge run short and use the full 50mm hose size to get the most from it.

What hose and fittings should I order with the LSC2.75S?

Order 50mm (2 inch) hose and a matching clamp. The LSC2.75S has a 50mm outlet and comes with a 50mm hose tail, so it takes 50mm layflat for temporary discharge runs or 50mm suction and delivery hose where a rigid, kink-resistant line is needed. Add a hose clamp for 50mm hose. The dual-position outlet can be set vertically or horizontally to route the hose in tight spaces.
