The Tsurumi TEF and TEW series are engine-driven, self-priming petrol high-head pumps powered by Honda OHV engines with oil alert. Designed for applications requiring high flow at elevated heads, they are suited to irrigation, dust suppression, utilities and firefighting. Cast iron impellers and volutes with wider diameters than traditional engine pumps, aluminium pump housings and carbon ceramic mechanical seals are used throughout.

Construction and Durability

Impellers and volutes are cast iron for durability in sustained high-pressure operation. Pump housings are aluminium alloy; mechanical seals are carbon ceramic. The Honda OHV engine is self-priming with oil alert. The TEF3-50HA and TEW2-50HA variants have three BSP male outlets, allowing two users to operate simultaneously; a blanking cap is included for single-user jobs to maximise pressure. All models except the TEF-25HA are supplied with a steel carrying frame. Maximum suction lift is 8 metres; recommended is 6 metres and below.
