Tsurumi TE Petrol Site Pump | Honda Powered Centrifugal Pump for Site Water and Dewatering

The Tsurumi TE petrol site pump is a Honda powered, self priming centrifugal pump designed for general site water duties. It is the workhorse of the Tsurumi engine pump range, available in four sizes from the compact TEM-25H through to the high flow TE2-100HA, and is widely used across irrigation, drainage, utilities, construction, hire fleets and wash down applications. Where the TDS range is built for dirtier water with solids, the TE is built for cleaner water at higher flow.

Construction and Durability

The TE range is built around robust Honda four stroke petrol engines, with a lightweight aluminium volute, body and impeller on the TEM-25H, and abrasion resisting cast iron volutes and impellers on the larger TET2-50HA, TE4-80HA and TE2-100HA. Each pump is fitted with a carbon ceramic mechanical seal. The aluminium pump housing keeps the larger models highly portable for their flow capability, and the cast iron impellers and volutes give the abrasion resistance contractors need. Oil Alert is fitted on the three larger models, shutting the engine down if the oil level drops too low. The TE will handle both clean and dirty water with solids up to 6 mm on the larger models, and 5 mm on the TEM-25H.

Why choose the Tsurumi TE?

The TE is a known quantity on hire fleets and contractor sites. Honda engines start reliably, the aluminium and cast iron build is easy to handle in and out of vans and trailers, and the carbon ceramic seal gives a long working life. Flow is impressive for the size: 1,000 l/min from the 80 mm TE4-80HA and up to 1,800 l/min from the 100 mm TE2-100HA. Recommended suction lift is 6 metres with a maximum of 8 metres, and all the accessories you need to put the pump to work, hose couplings, washers, strainers and clips, are supplied in the box. For general site water duties where the TDS trash pump is overkill, the TE is the sensible choice.
