The Tsurumi Family 12 is a submersible puddle pump designed for domestic and light industrial use where getting the last of the water out matters. Its top discharge design allows it to operate in very shallow water, and the included residue adaptor enables it to drain right down to 1mm. Construction and Durability

The Family 12 is built around a top discharge design that allows the pump to continue operating as water levels drop very low. Pumped water flows between the outer casing and the motor, keeping the motor cool even in near-dry conditions. The pump incorporates Tsurumi's patented oil-bathed mechanical seal, which allows it to run dry for short periods without damage. An automatic motor cut-out is built in as standard: if the motor overheats or detects an over-current, it shuts off automatically before damage occurs and can be reset once cooled. At 157mm in diameter and 3.4kg, the Family 12 is small enough to fit where most puddle pumps cannot.
