The ideal pump for watering your garden.

The FL pumps come with a 13mm inlet and outlet, along with 0.5 inch male BSP fitting, meaning that standard garden hose can be connected; allowing you to water your garden without using a tap!

The FL Demand Pumps are available with different voltages, including:

  • 12v DC
  • 24v DC
  • 110v
  • 230v

The FL range of automatic demand pumps are ideal for a wide range of applications such as watering gardens, chemical transfer, spraying, bowsers, pole window cleaning, car wash systems, dust suppression or vehicle mounted sprayers, automotive systems, showers, washing etc.

The pump will switch on and off when a valve, tap or hose attachment is either closed or opened.

The pumps are diaphragm pumps and thus do not require priming. They can run dry without damage.

The maximum suction lift is 2m and they are able to handle fluids that are up to 54 degrees centigrade. Each model includes a pre-filter as a back up safety device to prevent solid particles from entering the pump and damaging the diaphragm.

The motors have a 90% duty cycle during an operating period of 4.5 hours. Not to be turned off/on for than 15 times in a 60 minute period.
Please note this is a surface pump and is not submersible.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd launched floodandwaterpumps.co.uk to make quality water pumps and expert advice easily accessible online. We have a large stock of water pumps which are available with next day delivery. Browse our shop to see the range of water pumps and flood pumps available. Whether you require pumps for flood water, draining construction sites or even for a water feature we have selected the best pumps available.

For a number of years, industry quality pumps were only accessible to trade customers, and domestic users were  left with generally poor-quality water pumps which often failed when used in anger. We have combined high-quality, reliable domestic and industrial pumps into one website which makes the best products available to all.

Flood Protection Solutions Ltd was founded in 2012, and has been supplying flood barriers, water pumps and consultancy services for the past 12 years. As part of our consultancy work, we extensively travel the UK, visiting homeowners, businesses and agencies to advise on flood protection schemes. We realised that too many people had previously purchased either the wrong type of water pump, or a poor quality one which did not perform the task well, and would not be reliable in service. Water pumps can be very important, and therefore you need the right type of pump and it need to be hard wearing.
