WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

The FPS Iguazu Sump FEKA is a premium packaged pump station, expertly designed to collect foul water from basements, ground floor extensions, or any area below the main sewer level where gravity drainage isn’t possible. It’s also widely used in flood defence, helping to remove water from flood-prone areas and reduce risk both internally and externally.

This upgraded system features a robust stainless steel submersible pump, a step up from the standard Iguazu Foul System which utilises the EVAK Hippo 50, making it more durable, corrosion-resistant, and capable of handling challenging wastewater conditions.

Avoiding Common Sump Pump Mistakes

Here are the five sump pump mistakes we see often, read how to avoid them.

Typical Applications

  • Collecting foul water from W.C.s and utility rooms
  • Lifting wastewater to the main sewer
  • Flood water drainage in internal or external areas
  • Suitable for domestic and commercial environments.

Why Choose the Iguazu Sump FEKA?

  • Delivered ready-to-install: Supplied as a complete package, including all internal pipework and a high-performance stainless steel sewage pump
  • Durable MDPE chamber: Lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant
  • Stainless Steel Submersible Pump: Made entirely from high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel with a tougher AISI 316 motor shaft—ideal for long-term reliability
  • Anti-Clog Impeller: The microcast steel vortex impeller prevents blockages and allows the passage of solid particles up to 50mm
  • Double Mechanical Seal: Features a non-toxic oil chamber between seals for added protection and motor longevity
  • Quiet, Efficient Motor: Waterproof, cooled by the pumped liquid, and equipped with long-life, low-noise ball bearings
  • Plug & Play** Setup: Includes 10m power cable and float switch for automatic operation (230v).

**The system is supplied as a complete ‘Plug & Play’ unit, ready for quick installation. Some on-site work will be required, including reconnecting components, drilling entry holes for cables, and routing wiring through a suitable conduit. Read our blog on Installing a Sump Pump here

Installing a Sump Pump

Watch below as we install a Packaged Pump Station into a garage floor, to assist with removing any floodwater that may enter.

In this instance, the property was suffering some water ingress into the garage through the walls, and also through a non-FPS Flood barrier.

The Sump Pump was installed into the garage floor to provide a passive solution to remove water from the garage.
