WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

Stainless Steel Submersible Pumps for Clean & Dirty Water Applications

The Mizar series is manufactured from high-grade 304 stainless steel, giving each pump excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Designed for processing, industrial use, and final effluent, these pumps handle both clean and dirty water. They perform well in challenging environments and are trusted in both domestic and light industrial applications.

Solids Handling & Pump Applications

The range includes the Mizar 30, Mizar 60, and Mizar Vox.

  • The Mizar 30 and Mizar 60 can pump suspended solids up to 10mm.
  • The Mizar Vox has an upgraded impeller that handles solids up to 20mm, making it the best option where larger particle sizes are expected.

A top-outlet design allows effective cooling of the motor, making the Mizar pumps ideal where space is restricted. They can operate fully or partially submerged, and will even tolerate short periods of dry running.

Recommended liquid temperatures are up to 35°C when fully submerged and up to 25°C when partially submerged.

Build and Design

Every pump in the Mizar series is designed for long service life.

Key construction features include:

  • Stainless steel 304 outer cover, outlet, impeller, suction cover, strainer, and seal holder
  • Stainless steel 303 shaft
  • Silicon carbide & NBR shaft seal
  • Technopolymer D-shaped handle for easy lifting and rope attachment
  • Polypropylene float switch on automatic models
  • Biodegradable vegetable-based hydraulic oil for lubrication

Performance and Specifications

The Mizar 30 delivers around 150 litres/min with 7m head, while both the Mizar 60 produces approximately 225 litres/min with 10m head, the VOX produces circa 175 litres/min with 7m head. All pumps come with a 32mm outlet (hose tail is sold separately) and a 10m heavy-duty rubber power cable as standard.

You can choose between:

  • Manual or automatic models
  • 110V or 230V versions
  • Standard Mizar or Mizar Vox (depending on solids-handling needs)

Automatic versions feature a pendant float switch with approximate switching levels of 220mm (on) and 90mm (off). See image chart for details.

110V models are designed for building sites and commercial environments where reduced-voltage equipment is required for safety, while 230V models are intended for standard domestic and industrial power supplies. 110V models are supplied without a plug.

This flexibility ensures you can match the pump precisely to your installation.

Important Notes

  • Suitable for domestic, trade, and industrial applications
  • Not recommended for ponds
  • Designed for installations with limited space or partial submersion requirements
  • 1-Year Warranty

HOW-TO

How-to videos

What is the Difference between a Manual & Automatic Water Pump?

Manual Pump - A pump that does not have a float control or pressure switch to start and stop. It will require an operator to control it.

Automatic Pump - A pump that has a float control or pressure switch to start and stop without an operator.

A float switch is a level controller that has a buoyant, water-tight device that lies
on a liquid, actuating a micro-switch when the level rises or falls, turning a pump on or off.

How to Attach a Hose to a Water Pump
