View store informationThe Stream SPA250 is a compact 350W automatic submersible water pump for removing clean water from tanks, water butts, small sumps, deeper standing water and non-wildlife ponds. It combines useful household pumping performance with a lightweight design that is easy to carry, position and store.
Powered by a standard 230V supply, the SPA250 can pump up to 90 litres per minute and has a maximum head of 6 metres. A pendant float switch starts and stops the pump automatically as the surrounding water level rises and falls.

This affordable submersible water pump is designed for residential and light-duty clean-water applications, including:
The pump can handle small particles up to 5mm, but it is not intended for sewage, heavily contaminated water or abrasive site water.
The Stream SPA250 includes a pendant float switch for automatic operation. As the water rises, the float lifts and activates the pump. The pump then switches off again as the water level falls.
Please note: a pendant float requires sufficient water depth and room to move freely. This model is therefore not intended for low-level puddle pumping or very narrow chambers.

The pump has a 32mm female BSP outlet and is supplied with an elbow and stepped hosetail suitable for connecting 19mm, 25mm or 32mm hose.
The stepped sections can be trimmed to suit the selected hose diameter. Using the largest practical hose will generally help reduce resistance and make better use of the pump’s available flow.
Weighing only 3.2kg, the Stream SPA250 is a practical choice for occasional water removal around the home and garden. It provides considerably more useful pumping performance than miniature aquarium-style pumps while remaining compact, affordable and straightforward to operate.
