Mizar 60/S – 316 Stainless Steel Submersible Pumps

The Mizar 60/S is a heavy-duty submersible pump manufactured from upgraded 316 stainless steel for superior corrosion and chemical resistance.

Designed for seawater, saltwater, light chemicals, and final effluent, they offer robust performance in demanding industrial environments. The Mizar 60/S handles soft solids up to 10 mm and features biodegradable lubrication oil for environmental protection.

Difference Between Mizar and Mizar S Models 

The key difference between the Mizar and Mizar S submersible pumps is their material construction and level of chemical resistance. The standard Mizar is manufactured from 304‑grade stainless steel and is intended for domestic and light industrial dirty water applications. In contrast, the Mizar S features 316‑grade stainless steel, offering significantly enhanced corrosion resistance and making it suitable for chemicals, seawater and sewage.

Mizar 60/S or Arvex/S?

Both are 316 stainless steel pumps with the same chemical and seawater corrosion resistance. Choose the Mizar 60/S for drainage, transfer and seawater duties with solids up to 10mm. Choose the Arvex/S, with its vortex impeller, where the liquid carries larger or fibrous solids. For general clean and dirty water where chemical resistance is not needed, the 304 stainless Mizar and Mizar VOX range is the lower-cost choice.

Not recommended for ponds or water features.

Mizar models feature upgraded sealing components, including silicon carbide mechanical seals, providing improved resistance to aggressive or lightly corrosive liquids.
