WHY IT WORKS

Built for the job

Cast iron horizontal multistage pump for sprinklers, fire systems, and industrial cooling loops.

The RS(M) is Speroni’s standard horizontal multistage booster pump.

Cast iron construction, stainless steel casing, and a stacked impeller design deliver high head from a modest motor.

This is a workhorse pump found on pressurisation sets, fire-fighting booster systems, and industrial washing lines across the UK.

The RS(M) are multi-staging non-self-priming, horizontal centrifuge pumps. For the pumping of only clean water. They develop high pressures from small motors and operate virtually silent, this makes them great for domestic use, in addition to horticultural and industrial applications.

The horizontal layout makes this pump easy to install on a floor or mounting plate. If floor space is tight, the vertical equivalent (RV) is the better choice; performance is the same.

Where the Speroni RS and RSM are Used

Sprinkler and irrigation pressurisation. Fire-fighting boost systems (with appropriate certification). Industrial washing and process water. Cooling loop circulation. Condensate return systems. Multi-storey buildings fed from stored water (downstream of air gap). Horticultural and agricultural pressurisation.

Operating Conditions: Continuous duty | Max. ambient temp: 40°C | Max. suction lift (+ foot valve): 7 mtrs

Fluid: Clean water | Temperature: 0 - 35°C

Application: Pressurisation units | Fire fighting | Washing | Condensate | Water supply | Cooling

Choosing Between the Models

An M at the end of the model name (RSM) means 230V single-phase, No M means 400V three-phase (RS).

Within the RS(M) range, motor power determines the head achievable. Flow stays roughly constant across the models. The 3kW RS 80 is only available in 400V three-phase.

RS Versus RSX: Which One?

The RS has a cast iron pump body with stainless steel casing. Cheaper, suitable for most general non-potable water applications.

The RSX has full stainless steel 304 construction. More expensive, used where food-grade or higher corrosion resistance is required.

With Speroni Pumps, models with an X in the model name (RSX, CMX, CTX) have stainless construction on the wet parts.
