Tsurumi HS2.75S Submersible Site Drainage Pump | High-Head 2 Inch

The Tsurumi HS2.75S takes the same 2 inch (50mm) outlet as the HS2.4S but steps up to a 750W motor and 18m of head, making it the high-head choice in the HS range. When you need to push water further across a site, higher up out of a deep excavation, or over a long hose run through a 2 inch line, the HS2.75S delivers up to 230 litres per minute with the head to back it up.

Built to last in demanding environments

The HS2.75S shares the HS range's rugged build: a ductile iron pump casing, cast aluminium motor frame and head cover, a wear-resistant urethane semi-vortex impeller, a 410S stainless steel shaft, a PVC strainer base and a double mechanical seal. A 7mm free passage handles dirty water with silt, sand and suspended solids.

Oil lifter for longer seal life

As a 750W model, the HS2.75S features Tsurumi's oil lifter system, which keeps the shaft seal continuously lubricated even when the pump runs at a low water level or partially submerged, extending seal and pump life on demanding, long-running jobs.

Manual or automatic

Available as a manual pump or with an automatic pendant float switch in a waterproof, ball-bearing actuated housing. The HS2.75S automatic switches on at approximately 430mm and off at approximately 50mm.

Common questions

Can the Tsurumi HS2.75S pump dirty water or sewage?

It pumps dirty site water, not sewage. The HS2.75S is built for rainwater, groundwater and sand-carrying water, with a 7mm free passage for silt, sand and suspended solids and a water temperature range of 0 to 40°C. Its urethane impeller and stirrer resist wear and blockage. It is not designed for sewage, toilet waste, stringy or fibrous solids, or flammable liquids.

When does the automatic HS2.75S switch on and off?

The automatic HS2.75S uses a Pendant float switch that switches on at about 430mm and off at about 50mm. The float sits in a waterproof case with a ball-bearing switch, and its cable is clamped to the pump with a little adjustment to alter those levels. The manual version runs until you switch it off.

How much water does the Tsurumi HS2.75S pump?

Up to 230 litres per minute, with a maximum head (vertical lift) of 18 metres, from a 750W motor. The extra head suits pumping out of deep excavations or over long hose runs through a 2 inch line. Real flow drops as lift rises and as hose length, bends and fittings add resistance, as maximum flow and head sit at opposite ends of the pump curve.

HS2.75S or HS3.75S: which should I buy?

Both have a 750W motor and 18 metres of head. Choose the HS2.75S if you work with 2 inch hose and fittings, at up to 230 litres per minute. Choose the HS3.75S for more volume, up to 310 litres per minute, through a 3 inch outlet that loses less flow to friction on long hose runs. The two weigh the same in manual form, 16.9kg.

What hose and fittings should I order with the HS2.75S?

Order 50mm (2 inch) hose and a matching clamp. The HS2.75S has a 2 inch outlet and comes with a hose tail, so it takes 50mm layflat for most discharge runs or 50mm suction and delivery hose where you need a rigid line. Add a hose clamp sized for your hose type.
