The Evak Hippo 50 Sewage Pump is a heavy-duty, submersible sewage pump engineered for robust performance in foul-water, sewage and flood-water applications. With a generous solids-handling ability (50mm), automatic variants (110V or 230V) and a manual 400V (3 phase) option, it gives you flexible power options to match site conditions.

Sewage pumps are designed to run steadily rather than switching on and off in rapid cycles, so it’s important not to over specify. Choosing a pump that operates comfortably in the middle of its performance curve gives better reliability and longevity. The Hippo 50 provides a well-balanced level of power for installations where the head height and discharge distance aren’t excessive, making it an ideal choice for typical domestic and light-commercial sewage sumps.

If greater flow capacity or head height is required, the Evak Hippo 75 or Evak Hippo 100 Sewage Pump (11m head) is a suitable upgrade.
The 110V and 230V models provide automatic operation for standard sump installations, while the 400V manual option offers greater control where required.

Layflat hose is very affordable but can kink. Depending on your use, you may be better using a reinforced suction delivery hose for your needs.
