Speroni is an Italian manufacturer of water pumps for domestic, agricultural, and industrial use. We are the UK’s leading retailer of Speroni Pumps. The full range is covered below, from pool pumps and surface centrifugal pumps, through to submersible sewage and seawater pumps.
Speroni was founded by Giuseppe Speroni in 1947 in Castelnovo di Sotto, in northern Italy. The brand started with pumps for agriculture, supporting post-war food production. Today, Speroni is a 250-strong team operating out of a 60,000 square metre factory, manufacturing around 8,000 pumps a day and shipping to 120 countries. Annual sales are in excess of 85 million euros.
Every pump is tested before leaving the factory. Endurance tests run for hundreds of hours in extreme conditions to verify real-world reliability. Speroni holds ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental, and ISO 45001 health and safety certifications. This is why Speroni has become a trusted choice for professional specifiers in the UK, including Yorkshire Water, SSE, and the Environment Agency.
The deeper read: what's in this range, how to pick, and when to talk to us before you buy.
The range splits into two broad categories: surface pumps and submersible pumps.
Surface pumps sit dry, with pipes running to and from them. Speroni’s surface range covers centrifugal transfer pumps, multistage pressure boosters, self-priming jet pumps, peripheral pumps for boosting, twin-stage and single-stage pumps for irrigation, and specialist pumps for oils and seawater. Pool pumps also sit in this category.
Submersible pumps drop into the water they move. Speroni’s submersible range covers drainage pumps, sewage pumps with grinder cutters, stainless steel submersibles for fibrous waste, and specialist seawater pumps.
The Speroni Swimm is one of our most popular products and a go-to choice for UK domestic and light commercial pool installations. The range spans seven models, from the Swimm 500 for small domestic pools up to the Swimm 4000T for larger commercial and leisure sites. Five of the models are 230V single-phase (Swimm 500 through to Swimm 2000), and two are 400V three-phase.
All Swimm pumps handle water temperatures from 5 to 35°C, are IP55-rated, self-priming with a strainer basket built in, and carry the standard two-year Speroni warranty.
For full specifications and to pick the right size for your pool, see the Speroni Swimm product page.
The Speroni naming looks cryptic but follows a consistent logic once you know it.
The M suffix. An M at the end of a model name (CM, RSM, CAM, WXM) means the pump is 230V single-phase. No M, and the pump is 400V three-phase. This is the same convention across the entire range.
Family prefixes. - C is the single-stage centrifugal family (C, CM, CF, CMX, CTX) - R is the multistage booster family (RS horizontal, RV vertical, RSX stainless steel, RA self-priming) - 2C is a twin-stage centrifugal - CA is a self-priming jet pump - K is the peripheral family (KF, KP, KS, AKM) - GA is an open-impeller centrifugal for slightly dirty water - WX is a stainless open-impeller for food and light chemicals - SXS is the stainless steel submersible drainage family - SA is the submersible seawater family - Cutty is the grinder sewage family
The X character in a model name (RSX, CMX, CTX) indicates stainless steel construction on the wet parts. Without the X, the pump has cast iron wetted parts.
Reliability. Pumps are subject to extensive testing.
Two-year warranty. Standard across the Speroni range.
We carry the Speroni range in the UK, with stock held in our warehouse for next-day delivery. If a pump is not immediately in stock, lead times are typically short.
